The First Citizens National Bank is pleased to announce that Austin Searfoss has joined the team as an Agricultural Lender. With six years of experience in the banking industry, five of those specializing in agricultural lending, Austin brings a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of farmers and agribusinesses.
“I enjoy building long-term relationships with customers and helping their operations grow while navigating challenges in agriculture,” said Austin. “I look forward to working with local producers and being a trusted financial partner in the community.”
A native of Forest, Austin graduated from Riverdale High School in 2015 before earning his bachelor’s degree in Sales and Management with a concentration in Finance from the University of Toledo in 2019. He and his wife, Gabi, reside just outside of Forest near their family farm, where they grow corn and soybeans. In addition to his banking career, Austin is actively involved in the farming operation and serves on the Wyandot County Farm Bureau Board.
Outside of work and farming, Austin enjoys golfing, bow hunting, and tackling DIY projects on their farmhouse. He and Gabi also stay busy with their two-year-old chocolate lab, Millie.
“We are excited to have Austin join our team,” said Frank Reinhard, Regional President. “His passion for agriculture, firsthand farming experience, and commitment to customer relationships make him a great asset to The First Citizens National Bank and the businesses we serve.”
